About This Session:

This specific family is so down to earth and practical. They are always up to try something new and go on an adventure. When the mama sent me a photo of her dress we went to work and found the perfect coordinating outfits for her husband and son. The best part is, the location that we shot at is a private property and while we were shooting the owner's chickens and roosters came out to join us. Instead of shooing them away we embraced them and let them roam around on the lawn. I think it was the perfect unexpected touch.

About This Session:

It was a pleasure to photograph the Moore family on one of the first warm days of spring in Southern Maryland. We ventured to a beautiful historic home along the water and were able to enjoy the fragrant blooms and scenic views. I loved capturing the natural family dynamic and connection, from the sweet kisses and hugs to the wild sense of adventure. The children giggled, raced around, and picked wildflowers - it was magical.

About This Session:

The Mohana family were visiting their family in San Jose and decided to take some portraits during the visit. This was a fall family session on top of one of my favorite Bay Area Hills. Majestic oak trees and golden grass were a perfect backdrop for these warm sunset portraits. Cathy picked the creamy outfits for the boys and a flowy dress for herself that were dreamy to photograph.

April 9, 2020 - A Family Session on the Mediterranian Sea

About This Session:

The most beautiful family met me on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea just outside of Tel Aviv, Israel for their session. As we did not share a common language, we spent the first few minutes translating through charades and with a little assistance from our phones, but as a storm was brewing, I knew we would need to move quickly to avoid the inevitable downpour. I indicated that we should hurry, and that all I needed them to do was enjoy this time together with each other. Removing the option to help guide them with words let me document their story with true authenticity. Watching this little family laugh and love – the way their eyes and faces lit up when they looked at each other – the way their arms so naturally reached for each other – I felt so honored to have been invited to share the evening with them. Though the skies were dark and churning, these images capture the light and love that radiates from this sweet family.

About This Session:

I have known the Brynes family for years as they are dear friends of ours. I always enjoy my time shooting their cute family. This session was held in the foothills of Fresno, CA right in the beginning of Spring, my favorite time of the year for family sessions. The colors of the hills paired with the gorgeous light made for the perfect session. Lindsay, the mother, also dressed the family in the prettiest of colors which made the images that much more breathtaking.
