About This Session:
This beachfront maternity session meant more to me than the average session. Gabrielle is my oldest sister, and in 2017, she married the love of her life, Bryce. While we may live exactly 1,000 miles apart, there is never a doubt that the few chances a year that we have to see each other are filled with sweet moments like these. This is such a beautiful stage in their lives as they await the arrival of their sweet little girl! And let me just say, I have been DREAMING of the day that I would be an aunt and spoil all my little nieces and nephews! We chose to photograph their maternity portraits on the beach near their home where it captures their warm-weathered life in Florida. And as the waves splashed onto our toes and the sun began to set behind the horizon, it couldn't have been a more perfect location to document their excitement during this time! While I may be a young photographer, motherhood is truly the inspiration behind my work. For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of the day that I will get to experience holding my own little one in my arms. I can see in my older sister what I know she has always been preparing for her whole life. My heart is beyond filled as I get to witness her walk through this life with her one-and-only and her natural motherly instincts as she brings a new little princess this side of heaven.
Wardrobe:
Gabrielle and Bryce created two stunning outfit duos from the guidance of the complementary Annika Jean Style Guide to not only look beautiful, but also feel comfortable! Gabrielle's blush lace dress is from Stellie Bellies, a maternity consignment shop in Palm Harbor, FL, and then we discovered the light blue dress and white dress shirt during our shopping adventures at Target. With their timeless wardrobe choices, all the attention is brought to their beaming smiles, and you can just tell the love that they have for each and their new little one shining through!
