About This Session:
A stately vineyard outside of Charlottesville, Virginia was the backdrop for this chic, winter inspired maternity session. Mama to be, Alisha, wanted an elegant look, donning a flowing sequined ivory gown from Flutterdress. Complementing the season, dad Mark sported a festive emerald green velvet blazer from Ralph Lauren. The couple, originally from Georgia, will welcome their first child during the upcoming holiday season. Talk about a great Christmas gift! Keswick Vineyard provided the perfect backdrop for the sophisticated feel this couple dreamed of, with beautiful gardens and fountains for the couple to stroll in. The lane leading out into the vineyards was a particular favorite, as the backdrop of the Appalachian mountains provided a sweet reminder of family and friends back home in Georgia.

"When we found out that we were expecting, we were both in a state of disbelief. All previous signs, and even a doctor, had determined that a baby was likely not in the cards for us. Our world definitely changed the day we saw those two pink lines. I dream of who our little boy will grow up to be. My hope is that he is full of wonder and curiosity...but, most importantly, that he grows up to be kind. We have been beautifully blessed with the opportunity to raise our miracle boy. We cannot wait for his arrival this winter."
