About the Session:
Although not originally from Kentucky, this sweet couple wanted to remember welcoming their baby boy among the black fences and rolling hills of the Bluegrass state. Choosing a family-owned horse farm outside Lexington brought their vision to life and gave us such a peaceful summer morning for their portraits. Summer sessions on film truly have my artist heart with their varying shades of green and light filtering through the trees. As a photographer, I felt completely at ease with so many vignettes to inspire and with such an easygoing family. Genuine smiles and natural moments came comfortably with a beautiful backdrop and the building excitement of the maternity season.
