About This Session:
Abby and Aaron had the maternity session of their dreams just in time–they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Ace, two weeks later after an early induction. When the pair met me at Bartram Gardens in Philadelphia, we were promptly greeted with dark clouds and a rainstorm. Thankfully the storm passed after some time, and we were able to resume their European garden-inspired session.
What Inspired Me: Even though Bartram Gardens is tucked away in the middle of busy South Philadelphia, it instantly transports me to some faraway European fantasy. I loved the book The Secret Garden growing up, and the nation's oldest botanical gardens are the perfect place for a romantic, whimsical maternity session.
