In April, we gathered with 13 talented, heartfelt women to create, learn, and most importantly, connect.

Here at The Kindred Path, we believe in nourishing both our minds and our hearts, and the GATHER workshop was the perfect way to do so. The workshop began with a dinner where we got to know one another, learn about our businesses and families, and laugh the evening away.

On Saturday morning we learned from the extraordinary Lauren Sosler of Lauren Sosler Photography on discovering and honing your brand. We kicked off the first styled session at the gorgeous Lafayette square, overflowing with Spanish-moss and decked with an iron fountain.
Marie led the styled maternity session, Adrianne shared her gifts by taking headshots, and we headed back for more fellowship during lunch.

Following lunch, we had our second styled session led by Adrianne at the stunning Wormsloe Historic Site. The women learned how to artfully photograph a family, all while having fun playing in the sand (and avoiding the sea crabs!).
The workshop closed with presentations from Adrianne and Marie on how to intentionally photograph families and price yourself for profitability.
We are incredibly grateful for this supportive, uplifting community and the fellowship we shared. We hope to see you at the next one!

"GATHER Savannah, where to even begin! I was so excited to attend my second workshop with The Kindred Path. Each workshop is so thoughtfully put together. I adore the styled shoots, but also just love getting to know other photographers in the genre. I took a chance at this workshop and tried to shoot primarily film, and to not overshoot! It really helped me to see the special moments unfold, creating fun and candid images like I never have before!"

"This experience was unlike anything I've ever done. It was outside my comfort zone to travel to another state and meet people I've never talked to. I was stretched in ways that helped me grow and it was incredible to see so many talented, beautiful, and kind women gather together and lift one another in a unique setting. I especially loved Lauren Sosler's message about being authentic. Her words, " Don't lose your sense of self" have stuck with me as I fine tune a brand that is authentic and beautiful to me. "Adrianne and Marie created a warm and welcoming environment for all the attendees of the Gather Workshop. Although some changes had to be made last minute due to weather, etc., they managed to roll with the punches without taking away from the overall experience. Their attention to detail and diligence in preparing for the workshop was evident through the beautiful, reserved meeting space, the food provided, the goodie bags given, as well as model wardrobe. The styled sessions gave attendees an opportunity to freely create without being boxed into any client expectations, which is critical for growth as an artist looking to try new things."
