About This Session:
I thoroughly enjoyed this photoshoot with the glow of the morning sun, the smell of fresh bread homemade by the dad, and just the cozy warmth of being inside the family's home. Of course, it doesn't hurt that this family is so adorable and so easy-going in front of the camera, but also the fact that it was an in-home session made them feel more comfortable in front of the camera. I take a very uninterrupted approach with my photography and I thought that a breakfast session would give the family something fun to enjoy together, rather than feeling awkward about where to put their hands or how to smile at the camera. This was some really precious time for the family before the new baby arrived, and I loved that I was able to capture this for them. The "big brother" book was a super cute touch for the maternity session, and it highlighted their eternal love for him as their firstborn.
