About the Session:

This session was a styled shoot I set up for myself—there were so many ideas I had been envisioning, and I wanted to bring them to life. My friend Sarah and her beautiful children happened to be available the same weekend I was visiting Texas, so we booked The Beverly Harris House, and everything came together so beautifully. There was cake decorating, eating, dancing, playing, and lots of snuggling. It ended up being even better than I had planned. What inspired me most was witnessing the beauty of motherhood and the simple joy that can unfold in just one afternoon. As a mother myself, it was really special to see it from the outside looking in.

Sarah's response to what having a family means to her: "My family and faith together has always been the 'why' behind every choice I make. Generationally, they shaped the values that guided me. And now, with children of my own, I understand more deeply what it means to truly love."
