About This Session:
I had the joy of photographing this family from India, who currently lives in Toulouse, in the south of France. What I loved about our time together was the family's palpable connection and friendship, which shined throughout their session. This entire in-home family session was fun and relaxed. Dad felt uncomfortable at the beginning of the session. He voiced his displeasure for posing and “smiling at the camera”. But given my natural approach of combining lifestyle posing and documentary moments, the whole family quickly forgot they were in a professional photo session, including dad. Their final image collection was filled with many in-between moments of fun, playfulness, and connection. The relationship between the mom and her little boy was especially captivating and artistically inspiring.
