About This Session:
This particular session meant so much to me for many reasons. I met the Brantley's a year ago and did their first family portraits with their son Conner when he was just a baby. Jessica's husband is active duty in the Marine Corps and we share so many similarities and we have bonded through our Marine Corp ties. Recently they found out he would begin training for a PCS move next year and Jessica made a very difficult decision to move back home to North Carolina. This way she could take care of Conner while her husband is in training. This session was emotional because through the smiles and laughs we had together, we knew this would be the last time they had family portraits like this for a while. I can't relay in words how hard it is to say see you later to someone you love. Let alone try to tell a child who does not understand.
